Your.MD’s complex medical ‘brain’ consists of a database sourced from validated medical literature covering over 1000 medical conditions and a very large dataset, which is populated by a team of UK NHS-trained doctors. This large dataset enables Your.MD’s chatbot to respond to a user in a very similar way in which a real doctor would, for example:
- Decide the most informative questions to ask the patient based on their input and profile.
- Work out dynamically what is the user’s probability of suffering from one or more specific conditions.
Your.MD’s accuracy is tested using externally verified medical test cases from renowned institutions such as Harvard University and the Royal College of General Practitioners. This is the same method used to test trainee doctors. Further accuracy testing is also undertaken against Your.MD’s own test cases (based on the same externally-verified sources) that hold greater relevance to our global database of users, so testing can be more diverse and thus more accurate. Although we strive to provide the best possible accuracy, please be aware that no Artificial Intelligence chatbot can reach a 100% accuracy level yet. So, when in doubt, always consult your doctor.
